Crusader Swimming League – Round 1 Results

Buxton Swimming Club has opened up its Crusader League campaign by travelling to Wellington, Telford. For a few of our swimmers this was their first ever league gala and this also saw some swimmers return to the league. The evening started off with high momentum with Sophie Byrne coming 2nd in the IM event and Jamie Beresford-Cook coming first. As the events went by, we continued picking 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. Izzy Stokes, who attended her first away gala, finished second in her 50m breast stroke with Sam Prince finishing 3rd. The Open age group consisted of a strong team with the Female team earning 2nd in the Medley replay and 1st in the Freestyle. The Male team two 3rds.
