Medal Success for Abbie Wood

Abbie Wood claimed bronze medals in the women’s 200m and 400m individual medley at the World Aquatics Short Course Championships in Budapest last week, setting a British Record in the 200m IM of 02:02.75 and a PB in the 400m IM of 04:24.34.

Great Britain’s women won silver in the 4x100m medley relay on the final day of the World Aquatics Short Course Championships in Budapest.

The United States won the race in a world record of three minutes 40.41 seconds as they dominated the field. However, it was closer behind them and the British team of Abbie Wood, Angharad Evans, Eva Okaro and Freya Anderson finished second in 3:47.84 as they narrowly beat a China team who set a time of 3:47.93.
